In one of the interviews, Kidshot revealed that he started rapping at a very early stage of his life. When he was 13 years old, Kidshot fond of listening to Raps especially, from artists like Nas and Lil Wayne. He admired them so much that he became curious to know more about them. Kidshot started researching about them. As he understands more about Hip-Hop culture, Kidshot got so motivated and decided to Rap as his career.
Kidshot began writing lyrics in Hindi. As he researched more, Kidshot identified a Hip-Hop music style that hails from the Midwestern United States known as chopper Rap or chopper flow. Chopper Rap attributes fast rhyming. Kidshot got fascinated by this style and decided to adopt this technique in his Raps.

In 2020, Kidshot released his first EP titled Bhot Kuch that made Kidshot talk of the town. Being famous for his unique chopper flow technique, Kidshot left everyone amazed with his debut EP. After the release, he was awarded the title of India’s fastest rapper by the India Book of Records for creating a record of maximum words sung in a rap song in one minute — 335 words.
