Markiplier’s early life is filled with tragedies at a tender age his parents separated and he went on to live with his father. His father remarried and her stepmom was always kind to him. He always wanted to be a YouTuber but his father’s unstable profession put a financial strain on the family and he had to go to college for a degree. His father passed away when he was halfway completing his graduation. His dad’s last words were “I love you so much”.
The sudden death in the family shook Markiplier who lost his only close friend and family member. If that was not enough he had to go live with his mom who threw him out after a minor disagreement and he had to live with his girlfriend. She also dumped him and at that time he was diagnosed with a tumour and had to undergo surgery.
During his time in hospital, he had plenty of time for introspection. And it was then decided he would not compromise on passion. He continued studying and making videos and he started a new channel with the name Markiplier which means Mark multiplied. He took a drop out when he was only 2 years away from graduating. He started his career playing Five Nights at Freddy’s series, Amnesia, Garry’s Mod, Happy Wheels, Surgeon Simulator, SCP – Containment Breach, and Slender: The Eight Pages. He also collaborated with a number of well know YouTubers like Pewdiepie, Game Grumps, Captain Sparklez, etc. He also appeared in Jimmy Kimmel’s show.
