Raj Shamani started his career as a speaker at the age of 16 across different countries. To spread his word and to expand his thoughts he started his content creator journey. He started making five minutes videos and 30-second reels to have a reach.
Raj struggle is unbelievable and worth appreciating. His father used to sell coconuts on the street where his grandfather and uncle used to work in a soap factory. Later his father joined his uncle and grandfather and started working in the soap industry.
Later their family decided to make soap by themselves and in 1990 they launched their first dishwasher named “Jadugar” and their family became financially stable. Their business started growing and soon they bought their own house in 2003. Their family was affected badly in 2008 due to recursion. In 2013 his father had a diabetic attack where his father became ill and total house responsibility came on Raj.
Raj never lost hope and used to see youtube videos of how to make soap and borrowed 10,000 rupees from his father for raw materials and decided to make a liquid soap as during that time liquid soaps and hand wash were huge demand.
where Vim liquid soap used to be at 110 rupees for 500 ml he started selling his liquid soap in 45 rupees for 50 ml. He used to keep his product in General stores and used to ask the owner to show his product to the customers and later when his liquid soap started getting attention and he came up with a promoting strategy that if anyone brings them the sale he would give them 25%. Within a year they became stable and their business was making profits.
This is the way he started his journey and by 2012 they started selling house products and were investing in stocks. later in 2015 he merged his soap business with his fathers chemical trading business and named their company ” Shamani Industries”. His business made 200 crores of net worth in FY2020.
