Born in West Bengal to a Bengali mother and a Punjabi father, Arijit Singh. He comes from a musical family because his sister, mother, and grandmother are all excellent vocalists. He studied with three gurus: Birendra Prasad Hazar taught him pop music and Rabindrasangeet, Rajendra Prasad taught him Indian classical music, and Dhirendra Prasad taught him tabla.
Arijit Singh worked as a freelancer with artists like Vishal-Shekhar, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Mithoon Sharma, and Pritam Chakraborty before becoming a popular playback singer. For the song Binte Dil from the movie Padmaavat, Arijit Singh has won a National Film Award.
