In one of the interviews, Brodha V decoded the meaning of his stage name. He opens up that Brodha V comprises two elements Brodha stands for Brotherhood and V signifies his name Vighnesh.
Brodha V initially began his journey by participating in the online Rap battles on Orkut. People started noticing and admiring Brodha V for his Rapping and, he gained popularity from here. After some time, he started producing his own music.
Brodha V formed a band along with Smokey the Ghost and Big Nikk in 2008 and named it Machas With Attitude (MWA). This band provided Brodha V with the needed attention. They performed a rap portion for the movie “Mujhse Friendship Karogi”.
2013 was a turning point in Brodha V’s career due to two reasons. First, the band won the Radio City Freedom Award and got an opportunity to meet Vishal Dadlani, who asked them to collaborate with him for the movie “Chennai Express”.
