In one of his interviews, Sajeel mentioned, “The music made me feel cool,” Sajeel says, and he felt the same when his grandmother played devotional songs to put him to sleep. “I think those moments played an important role in connecting me to music,”
It was his love for computers that landed him in the music industry. It was when one of Sajeel’s friends introduced him to the software Virtual DJ. From there his musical journey commenced. He started making mashups and later began creating music for his own mashups.
Changing Brand Name to and His Music Inspiration:
The recording executive changed his label name to “Sez on Beat” after he won the second position at a South- Asian competition, which he terms as the turning point of his life.
When asked if he was supported for his career by his parents, Sajeel said, “My mother is my biggest strength. My dad always used to say: ‘I am always there for you, do whatever you want to but think about everything practically and make sure you are able to look after yourself.’ And that helped me big time. I can definitely say that my mom is proud of me and what I am doing.”
Music changed him completely and has now become his identity. His inspiration behind music is Shebib, the one who was behind making Drake a widely known superstar.
Launch of the MVMNT
In 2020, Sajeel launched an independent collection of hip-hop in collaboration with Faizan Khan, named The MVMNT. Both the music creators vision to bring new sounds and promote the new genre of hip hop to every part of the nation.

The official YouTube channel of Sez on the Beat has crossed 69,700 subscribers and his music is available on all the major streaming platforms.
