Tusshar Kapoor started his career as an assistant to film director David Dhawan. After this, he went on to train his acting skills alongside Roshan Taneja and Mahendra Verma.
He debuted with the film, ”Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai” along with Kareena Kapoor in 2001 and it was a hit in the box-office because of their natural chemistry with each other.
He acted in a few Telugu remakes like, ‘ Jeena Sirf Merre Liye’ (2002), and ‘Yeh Dil’ (2003), which unfortunately tanked at the box office.
From 2004 onwards, he was cast in quite a number of commercial hit films like, ‘Kya Kool Hai Hum’, ‘Khakee’, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Shootout at Wadala’, ‘Kya Super kool Hai Hum’, ‘Shor in the City’ and the ‘Golmaal series’.
